Admission is offered to applicants who have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree (14th Year Education) in following fields from HEC recognized educational institute.:

- Admission Fee: 5000 PKR
- Semester I: 40,000 PKR
- Semester II: 40,000 PKR

Introduction:
Nutrition and Dietetics is an evolving healthcare field, addressing the importance of healthy food habits for overall well-being. The rise in diet-related illnesses highlights the crucial role of informed dietary choices. Our Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics offers candidates the flexibility to specialize in their chosen nutrition field. The program emphasizes practical placement, communication, and international engagement. Distinguished by its focus on evidence-based practice and nutrition research, the course delves into physiological, biochemical, and social aspects of food. Graduates are empowered with knowledge and skills to leverage food as a tool for physical, mental, and social well-being.
Learning Outcome:
After completing PGD in Nutrition and Dietetics the following attributes will have been fulfilled in students:
- Independent to access, analyze and plan nutritional management for disease, physiological conditions and special condition
- Comprehend the principles of human physiology and biochemistry for understanding the
human diseases and their management. - Develop feasible solutions against major nutrition related health issues in the country
- Acquire skills for development of diet therapy and establishment of food service units.
- Train on innovative recipe development considering the science of nutrition
- Work as nutrition consultants and dieticians in hospitals and wellness centers
Scope:
Successful students will get job placement in Government Sector, Hospitals and Clinics, Health Departments, INGOs, Schools & Colleges, Sports and Health Clubs, Hostels and Restaurants, Food and Pharma Industries, Research and Development Centers, Gyms, Slimming Centers, Private Consultant/Practitioner as Clinical Nutritionists, Clinical Dietitian, Management Dietitian, Consultant Dietitian, Nutrition Research Scientist, Public Health Nutritionist, Personal Nutritionist, Food Service Manager, Health Coach, Diet Therapist, Community Dietitian, Nutrition Sales Executive and Nutrition Product Manager.
Learning Model:
The trainer uses up-to-date training techniques and a variety of training methods, to give all participants the best opportunities for learning, including: Lectures, Tutorials, Class Sessions, Group Discussions, Interactive Workshops, Simulations Exercises, Industrial Visit, Case Studies, Individual Assignments, Templates and Tools, and practicals delivered in course-specific facilities and laboratories, and on placement with local Hospital Settings and practitioners.
Assessment:
The participant’s study progress evaluation mechanism is based on continuous assessment throughout the Semester by giving assignments, quizzes, and final term exams. The final term exams count for 80% of the total marks for a course.
