Global Standard Services aim to ensure the compliance of certified entities and to provide Halal certification activities to the industries in food chain as per with Islamic and Shahriah laws and principles, guaranteeing the authenticity of Halal products in the market.
The total management/ staff that are involved in our Halal Assurance Quality Management System Certification are Muslims and firmly believe in:

GSS is committed to implement and maintain the compliance against all the requirements of the standards PS 4992:2022 OIC/SMIIC 2: 2019 and PS 3733:2022 OIC/SMIIC 1:2019 and performs Halal Audits. All the Halal certifications decisions are conducting independently with no influence of any 3rd party and person. GSS emphasizes transparency, impartiality, and the highest ethical standards in conducting audits, inspections, and ongoing monitoring to maintain the credibility and trustworthiness of the certification body and conduct an annual impartiality meeting in which independent Muslims- Food and Shariah experts participate and review all impartiality risks and conflict of interest.
GSS also have Halal testing laboratory and upgrading our testing facilities as required from time to time.

Global Standards Services records retention policy is designed to ensure the effective management and preservation of all certification-related records. GSS recognize the importance of retaining records to meet legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements, and ensure that the records are readily available for as long as they are required to support ongoing certification activities and provide evidence of compliance.
This policy is applicable to every certification records, including application forms, assessment reports, and audit reports, certificates, following the completion or termination of the certification process. Additionally, we maintain a secure and organized records management system to facilitate easy retrieval, ensure confidentiality, and safeguard the integrity of the records. All records created, received, or maintained by GSS during their operations belong to the GSS and are retained and disposed of according to the procedure.
Global Standard Services aims to ensure fair and consistent treatment of certified individuals or entities and to maintain the integrity and reputation of the certification program.
The policy defines the grounds for each type of action, including suspension, withdrawal, cancellation, and reduction of certification notification, response, review, and communication.
Global Standards Services (GSS) has right to suspend, withdraw, reduce or cancel issued certificate on the basis of received information and its own findings, which aren’t in compliance with the standard requirements and certification rules. The policy emphasizes the importance of upholding ethical standards and compliance with certification requirements while providing a transparent and accountable process for all parties involved.
If GSS opt for Suspension, withdrawal, reduction an cancellation, it will send a written notice about occurred situation to the client and provide him with the specific period to implement correction (no more than 6 months).
